Andrea Grujic

Born in Belgrade, raised in Budapest, lived in Oslo and now, New York. Sounds somewhat puzzling, right?

Being a diplomat’s daughter comes with the nomadic lifestyle and an abundance of cultural influences. But once I felt the rapid 24/7 pace of this concrete jungle, I decided to settle here and attempt to tackle the challenges this city unapologetically throws at us.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies from Hunter College and I recently graduated with an MS in Media Management from The New School. Throughout my studies I’ve had the opportunity to develop skillsets in various aspects of the media industry; from Journalism, Media Communications & Digital Production during undergrad to Copyright, Brand Development & Strategic Content Management during my Master’s program.

I managed a tropical inspired bar called “The Highwater” for three years during which I had a dual role; as a Media Manager and Beverage Director, my responsibilities ranged from online brand development and marketing to craft cocktail creation and execution.

My journey led me to work in two different fields that fuel my ambition. Now, in the post-graduation world, I am discovering ways to combine media and hospitality through a variety of projects while also growing my personal brand.
